I get hosed by the CDI not switching to VLOC when I need it to. Isn’t the best way to really just switch the CDI yourself and forget the auto switch?

I don’t have a problem with switching to VLOC manually. The only issue is that you have to ensure you switch back to GPS if required. However, the Autoswitching portion of the 430/530 works excellent once you learn when it switches for you.
