Flying Like the Pros! was founded by J. Robert Moss who serves as the company President. An Airline Transport Pilot and SAFE (Society of Aviation & Flight Educators) Master CFI, "MossY" is known nationally as one of the top Instrument Instructors.
"MossY" is often sought out to give his highly acclaimed seminar, "Flying IFR Like the Pros", at fly-ins and pilot gatherings.
He holds a U.S. FAA Gold Seal Certificated Flight Instructor rating for Airplane Single & Multiengine; Instrument Airplane (CFI CFII MEI). he Cirrus Standardized Instructor Program (CSIP).
One of his true loves is teaching single pilot jet operations. He teaches as an Instructor Pilot in owner-flown aircraft on the Eclipse 500.
He also instructs as a Mentor Pilot on the Citation 510 (Mustang) and Instructor pilot on the Citation 525 series (CJ,CJ1,CJ2,CJ3) and the Beechcraft Premier I/IA (RA-390).
You can often find him teaching on two national recurrent training programs: The Cirrus Owners and Pilots Association (COPA) Cirrus Pilot Proficiency Program (CPPP),
and he serves as one of the lead instructors and module creator for the Cessna Advanced Aircraft Recurrent Training .
Having traveled the world as a student of Ultra-Long Haul Airline Flight Operations, "MossY" offers the pilot a peek into the often hidden world of Professional Airline Standards & Procedures. He admits to being a true checklist nut.
